Adam and Peeve is a blog by me, Adam Charles Sloane. I was born in Glen Cove, NY,  and graduated from Glen Cove High School and Haverford College. I proudly failed to complete a Ph.D. in Political Theory at Princeton (something about having failed to even start a dissertation). After dropping out of Princeton, I did successfully complete law school at the University of Michigan. I was a lawyer in Washington, DC, where I practiced at a large law firm for 30+ years, until the firm kindly suggested that I might enjoy retirement, which I do. Nowadays, I split my time between DC and Kalamazoo, MI. When I am not blogging or being peeved, I read, exercise, work on improving my Muscle Ups, and try to limit my news intake. Grocery shopping also takes a surprising amount of my time. My friends, relatives, and spouse are not responsible for what I say here, so please don’t look for them.
