Trump’s Letter to School Children

President Trump has written (hahahaha!) a back-to-school letter to America’s school children.

It’s a lovely, cheerful, inspiring message. In fact, it’s the loveliest and most cheerful and most inspiring message that ever has been penned (hahahaha!) by a President (or Dear Leader) to America’s school children, and EVERYONE says it’s simply the greatest thing they have ever seen. EVERYONE is talking about it. It’s drawing absolutely huge crowds of readers. The largest crowds ever.

Using the most up-to-date technology, I have figured out how to embed the magnificent letter in this post, and am setting it forth below for your reading pleasure (and edification). (Sorry about the typeface. I had to reduce it so that I could fit the signature in. If you want your very own, easy-to-read version, I also am providing a link to it.)

I hope that you school children respond to the request the President made in the second to last paragraph, and share with the President and First Lady some of the projects that you are most proud of. I’m sure they would love to hear about your efforts to set up hotlines alerting your neighbors to ICE activities in your town. The founding of a chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America in your school or the expansion of your school’s LGBTQ+ club would surely thrill the President and First Lady. And I know they would be just tickled to hear about your efforts to educate your classmates about the ruthless appropriation of American indigenous people’s land, the separation of church-and-state in America, and the internment of people of Japanese descent during the Second World War. Oh, and don’t forget the projects devoted to the heroes of the civil rights movements and the ongoing battles for income equity for women and minorities.

So answer the President’s call, and have a great (and fun) school year!
