A White House teleprompter operator is under investigation for alleged insider trading. The teleprompter operator allegedly made “trades” on the Kalshi “prediction site” where traders make bets on which words public figures like Trump will use in speeches and at events.
Press Secretary Leavitt said that Trump is aware of the allegations and “believes it’s deeply unfortunate and frankly a disgrace.”
I agree. If you’re going to profit from inside information involving Trump, you had better be a close relative of the President or, at the least, give him a cut of the proceeds.
Geez. Doesn’t anyone know the rules around here?
